It’s Time to Get Started™! | Our Process
The first step is to schedule an initial consultation with one of our financial advisors, and the process begins with two meetings, about 1-2 hours each. We hold these meetings wherever you’re comfortable: our office, your home, or your local Starbucks – whatever works for you.
Objectives for the First Meeting
- Collect as much information as possible about your goals, resources, and objectives.
- Create a personalized action plan to serve as your individual/family roadmap.
- Provide an initial introduction to modern portfolio theory and some of the basic investment terminology.
Objectives for the Second Meeting
- Review the action plan and go over recommendations.
- Make sure we’ve explained each strategy thoroughly.
- Answer any questions you might have.
Once you decide to partner with Lions Gate WM, we start by determining the first steps within the action plan. We usually implement three to five initial objectives within the first 180 day period.
After that, we start our regular six-month review meetings. This gives us a sit-down meeting to review your goals, celebrate successes, and evaluate your overall financial health. Our hope is to always have these conversations face-to-face, whether that means in person or through technology like Skype or FaceTime.
Our staff and advisors are available to answer questions and talk things through with you throughout the process – no need to wait for a formal meeting. We know that finance brings up questions for everyone, so availability is key for the advisor-client relationship.
New Client Concierge
After your initial meetings with us, our new client concierge will be in touch with you about preparing for your first review. Setting up your profile, getting through paperwork, and any general questions you have can go through this point of contact. Accessibility is key, and this person will be the face of Lions Gate for you to help you get in touch with the right people and check in where you are in the process.

We understand that investing is more than just a numbers game, there are emotions involved as well. People assign different values to money and have had different experiences with investing. The so-called best investments aren’t necessarily the best for everyone. When we first get to know each other, we’ll ask you a lot of questions so that we can learn about you as a person, and then we’ll tailor your investments accordingly. Out of these conversations, we create a Lions Gate Wealth Management Action Plan for each client that includes all of our recommendations and acts as a roadmap for establishing the client’s objectives and working towards them.

One thing you’ll notice about our firm is that we’re friendly. Down to earth. Good listeners. Having been in the business a long time, we’ve seen different market cycles – both good and bad! We have perspective that can help keep you on an even keel through the inevitable market ups and downs. We accept new clients that are seriously interested in getting on track with their investment goals. We believe that it is important to grow with our clients; therefore, we do not have investment minimums that require clients to have a large amount of investable assets to get started.
Empower Clients to Feel Confident About Their Decisions
You don’t have to know the difference between a REIT and a UIT when you come to see us. We’re happy to explain it to you if you’re curious; if you’re not, that’s okay too. Some clients want to take more of a hands-on role in the investment process; others want nothing to do with it. Either way, our goal is to help give you financial confidence, secure in the knowledge that your money is working effectively for you, and that you are working with professionals who truly care about you and your goals.

At Lions Gate Wealth Management, LLC, we follow prudent financial principles. We treat your money responsibly. We meet with clients on a regular schedule – in person if possible. At our meetings, we talk about your objectives, determine if changes to the Action Plan are needed, evaluate our progress and performance, and assign tasks for the next six months. We work in partnership to help you pursue your goals and dreams.
